We only knew each other For a very short while But I'll never forget Your genuine smile During this time I never heard you complain Despite your mental & physical suffering And hidden pain But God had other plans for you And that is why he has taken you away Because in the future We'll meet again one day During life's journey We learn from others along the way Being positive, considerate, courageous, brave and humble Was your order of the day Thank you Lizzie For sharing your time And your smile That's deeply cast in my mind.
